It all started with Kidd Krampus! In 2023, Plushpanion's founder, L, set out to create a plush that was more than just a cuddle companion, one that sparked creativity and interaction. She remembered a childhood favorite: a sturdy plush dog with a magnetic bone that clicked into place, at the mouth of the pup. That little detail stuck with her, making every playtime feel more alive.
Tired of plushies piling up with no customizability or interactivity, L saw an opportunity to revitalize that idea into the world of plush toys. With the support of loved ones and a successful crowdfunding campaign, Kidd Krampus was born, marking the beginning of Plushpanions™, where imagination meets companionship!
She didn’t stop there. Plushpanions™ is built on a bigger vision: crafting plush creatures, for everyone, that inspire adventure while being kinder to the planet.
By bringing the world’s diverse wildlife and mythical folklore beings to life, we aim to spark a love for nature and storytelling - while also taking steps toward more sustainable materials and practices.

With a BFA in animation, she brings a unique artistic touch to every plush, crafting eco-friendly companions that inspire imagination while highlighting the importance of sustainability. Plushpanions uses non-toxic, recycled, and organic fabrics, ensuring every hug is soft, comforting, and kind to our planet. Drawing inspiration from global folklore, animals, and insects, both real and mythical, L and her small, dedicated team create plushies that celebrate the beauty and diversity of our world.
Props and clothing are designed to reflect the passions, dreams, and identities of its adopter. Whether it’s a nod to a lifelong love, a future aspiration, or a symbol of self-expression, these details make every Plushpanion a deeply personal companion.
